Update 20.03.02
The update 20.03.02 is now available!
Changes:
- If your quest with Sandra for Bob didn't finish due to a bug in the last update, talking with Sandra will mark the quest as done now.
- Removed the Christmas elves, but you can replay all Christmas scenes at the note in the sleeping chamber.
- The CG scene for the weak mummy was added to the CG room.
- Added a reset option for Lace to bring her back to the start of the secret prison events. From there you now have the option of her good path. There are no CG scenes for her good path yet, nor does she get out of the prison yet.
- New event with Hellhound. It starts in the volcano in Amagal where you find orangium for Vampire, when you have Hellhound's and Vampire's events advanced far enough.

academy research seems to be bugged, it doesnt have upgrade time like the other, but when i upgrade it the icon become green like it's been upgraded, but after some time it come back unupgraded again

I cant have sex with Hellhound in training cave so i cant have threesome scene, although i can have sex with Leneth and I have CG sex with Hellhound in CG room. Please help me. Thanks.

It's not part of the next update, which should be done soon, but the continuation of Kippy's events might get added in one of the following updates.
Hi, Thank you for the game. I'm playing 20.03.02 version and I'm stuck in the story line with Lace. When I brought her into dungeon, I chose the good path. so she is not in my CG room and I can't reset her story line. When I talk to her, her reply is "I have nothing to say to you" and Varea is not in the Manastyr in order to complete the "Next Step" story line. Please help me what should I do?
What you do with Lace after capturing her has no effect on the main story progress. Once you defeated her, you can talk with Varea again to continue the story. Did you perhaps miss the room in the castle in which she is? It's not a door but a "gap in the wall". You can see it in the hallway left of the throne, in the bottom of the hallway.

RyenSaotome-san, when will Lace's event been completed, I can't help waiting :3 Can she be added to formation? Can you give her and Lind skill and help her to appear in formation. I thinks they two's abilities are good enough, beside, I really like them. Ah, can you add some kind off mini game like "Aporkalypse" - the game with many kind of pigs and each pig has they own skills to help user to do mission like take them to a point. I think we can change that pigs with our main and his alliances. In addition, the Arena game too short, can you change it to seasons, and each seasons has new opponents, they can be any one in your game and add some kind off achievement about this Arena, and player can show it with medal. Can you add some items eternally increasing status point like present for that kind of game. The software you using are too old, the game's resolution is too low... I hope many things from that game and I just want you to know that.
Ps: "The part of hentai arts are really too childish, that my own opinion. If only one day, you would change it to better one." Hope you read it soon, and I really love your game.

I don't have the CGs I need for Lace's events, that's why they won't be advanced in the next few updates. But the events are already planned and will get into the game eventually. :)
There will be no new main party members before the time skip. Most likely, some side characters will get into the party after the time skip, but until we get to that point the group will stay with the current 12 members.
I already have years of work on my to-do list. That's why I try to avoid adding more complex systems or mini-games, and instead focus on the things I've already started or planned.
I'm probably going to re-do or improve the arena, but it's not a priority and therefore won't be done anytime soon.
The game has been in development for many years and with a way smaller budget at the start. That's why some of the older CGs aren't on the same level as what I'm getting from my artist nowadays. Several of those are planned to get a re-work at some point.
oh, that is quite disappointed. I also thought that but I thought the sooner you can change it, the lesser works to do for changing after all. Besides, main story came to the end, so I think remaking the system graphic is the last work for best end. ah, whatever, thanks you.
I use the itch.io desktop app and can no longer update.
I posted links instead of uploading directly to itch for the last update. But as it turns out that doesn't work well with the itch app, therefore I'll upload the next version directly to itch again.
Thanks. That would solve my problem. I am weary of third party sites. especially ones that force you to download extra software like mega.

how large is this update

The main part is a new dungeon and the hellhound village, a CG scene, and the good path change for Lace.
have some problems with the update on itch.io too
wants me to choose between
1) renryuu version 20.02.03 [hidrive folder link]
2) renryuu version 20.02.03 [mega folder link]
((update numbers swapped ...02.03 vs ...03.02???))
both give the same error message:
"an error occured during installation. no manager for installer unknown"
now I have to folder in my itch.io directive
A) renryuu/renryuu ascension 20.02.08
B) renryuu 2/renryuu ascension 20.03.02 - update file
(just copy that stuff from (B) to (A)???)
I messed up the version number in the folder link name. It's version 20.03.02, the newest version, in the hidrive and mega links.
If you download the newest version you don't need the update files. The "update files" are to upgrade from version 20.02.08 to 20.03.02.

1) thanks for the reply
thats what I wanted to try to do first - but then decided to wait a bit first
2) copied the files like in your video but itch wanted to still update the game - so to avoid this mess and further trouble with the itch-updater - I backuped the saves and deleted the game to re-install it
3) deletion worked but re-install doesn't work either
3a) for the HiDrive folder - "An error occured during installation No manager for installer unknown"
3b) for the MEGA folder - "An error occured during installation runtime error: slice bounds out of range"
The HiDrive and MEGA links are folders with multiple versions, that's why they don't work with the itch app that searches for one file.
so in other words currently no way to (re)installl the game through itch.io?
I'm not using the app, so I can't say if there is a way to manually download it via the links and add it to the folder or something.
Next time I'll probably post the links first but upload the files directly again afterwards. That should solve the issue for app users.
It's not a dealbreaker by any stretch of the imagination, but it would be nice if it was uploaded directly to itch eventualy. The mirrors prevent you from installing/updating the game through it.
